Who is Lying: Bicka or Frick & Frack?
Bicka Barlow is a DNA expert and attorney. On the Kohberger case, she started as DNA expert and transitioned to being one of BK's lawyers. I've been following this case since the beginning and have not read or heard a single bad word about Bicka. In their recent interview, one of the Custody Queens praised her and Turvey described her as very smart.
Bicka wrote and signed Motion in Limine #6. In that motion she states in footnote 2 below that "the body cam footage of one of the first officers on scene shows the sheath tucked under the covers next to Ms. Mogen."
Whitcomb and Turvey, however, claim the body cams don't show the sheath. So either Bicka is lying or Turvey & Whitcomb are lying.
The body cam either shows the sheath or it doesn't show it. It doesn't matter what any officer wrote or didn't write in their report. All that matters is what the body cam shows. Also, I think the log stating the sheath was on the floor is authentic but it was written after the first responding officers had been in the room. A detective or crime scene technician - not one of the first responding officers - was going through the scene and assigning to each piece of evidence they found an item #, description, and location. Also of note is evidence marker #14 (sheath) was placed on the bed next to the sheath, not on the floor.
