Hey guys! I’m kinda new to WOD and I’m trying to write a small oneshot! What would you guys change? Plot here will work with hunter?
A rural influencer in southern Brazil goes viral after posting videos of strange lights, electronic interference, and metallic sounds coming from the mountains behind his property.
Then people start disappearing.
The hunters arrive expecting a UFO case, supernatural activity, or a hoax. The area is crowded with curious tourists, UFO researchers, local police, and the influencer himself.
As they investigate, they discover that the forest is genuinely dangerous: landslides, hidden ravines, dense fog, and deadly terrain could explain many of the deaths.
But strange lights continue to appear in the mountains.
Eventually, the hunters discover the phenomenon is caused by the spirit of a murdered girl. She isn’t trying to hurt anyone—she’s desperately trying to lead people to her hidden body. The lights and interference are a cry for help, not a trap.
The final revelation is that a respected retired police chief murdered her years ago and unknowingly benefited from the UFO hysteria surrounding the area.
The core mystery becomes:
Are people dying because of a ghost, because of the forest, or because someone wants the truth to stay buried?
