Favorite Cass Couple

A little while ago I did a poll for the fan favorite character of AHB’s Bright Falls trilogy- happy to say they all characters did get some votes, but Delilah Green took home the winning title!

Any way, because of Haley Cass’s release of The Whole Truth a few months ago, I thought I’d do another “favorites vote”.

So, who is your favorite Cass couple?

*NOTE: I was only allowed to include 6 options, so if your favorite couple is Juliet Jacobs & Darcy Kincaid from The Whole Truth then type it in the comments and I’ll include those when the poll ends*

For my own pick- although I have an incredibly soft spot for all the characters, Riley & Gianna have my heart 💜

What a goof!

Just wondering if anyone else is a BIG TIME silly goose and has borrowed/bought/acquired a book that is NOT the one you intended? Ya girl is a goofball who didn’t read the author’s name and instead invested way too much time in reading this little number instead of The Senator’s Wife by JEN LYON. I just kept thinking “where’s the gay shit?!”. Spoiler alert- there isn’t any…

Shout out to these 2!

*can’t crosspost my original post in a different r/ so I just copied and pasted to this one*

Just wanted to express my appreciation and love of these two books: The Lay of You by MacKay & The Girl Who Bit Me by Hunter.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect with both. I had seen praise for each but also didn’t know if they would be ‘up my alley’ because everyone has their own interpretations/perceptions/feelings/etc.

That being said, if you’re looking for passion meets smut, look no further. I’m not saying these books are ‘literary masterpieces’, but I DO believe they are a step above many I’ve read in a ‘similar category’.

Speaking as someone who loves intensity and emotion, these books deliver when it comes to what I’m looking for. Yearning, inner conflict, adoration, depth. I’m sure there are many more words I could use to describe the feelings these books elicit, but essentially, just think: intense romance meets intense ‘spice’.

Any way, thank you to all who have recommended these, you changed the life of this reader!

Bright Falls Faves

Just a fun post to see who everyone’s favorite Bright Falls character is because I just finished rereading the trilogy.
(Didn’t include Jordan or Stevie because they aren’t part of the “original 4”, even though I love them both!)
My own? Although I love them all, Iris Kelly has my heart 💚

With all the “my celebrity crushes” posts…

It reminded me of a tiktok video by sisimosescomedy where she points out all the different types of celebrity men and their features, categorizing them as frog, rat, bull, or thumb. Thought you all might enjoy these screenshots, just for fun!
Again, got these from sisimosescomedy on tiktok!

* Edited to include this link to the tiktok creator’s page that created this beautiful compilation

I saw a post on Reddit (maybe this page?) a couple weeks ago talking about fan art and WLW couples. Well, I’m itching for it too! I wish I could draw or illustrate, even fan cast and photoshop! But alas, I’m not talented in that way…

So, my question, does anyone know of any sites or anything that caters to fan created artwork, specifically of the sapphic book variety? I have used Google images as best as I can but I was just hoping someone could point me in a different direction because all I keep seeing are Haley Cass’s characters. And don’t get me wrong, I love them all and I wish there were MORE of them, but they’re also the only characters that I see typically drawn/illustrated (and even those are still very limited). Any way, if anyone knows of anything, let a girl know too! Or if anyone reading is an artist and wants to share their renderings then please do!!!

Hey all! Question: has anyone been to Cass Con? I know that the 2026 event just happened, I believe in NYC, and was wondering what all it entailed. They have the next one scheduled for November 2027 in Philadelphia, but haven’t released much info because it’s so far away. So, what would someone expect if they went to it? It seems smaller/more intimate than other conventions/conferences so I was just wondering what to expect if I went. Thanks for the help!
