Another first time owner question. Why do half my leaves look rough but other half vibrant?

As per title half my leaves on one side look rough but other half look very healthy to me. First time JM owner and yall last helped me due to sun scalding issues so I ended up cutting that limb off and then tree took off in good way with new growth. Concerned about leaves and if underlying issue of some kind?

As per title half my leaves on one side look rough but other half look very healthy to me.
