What’s your favourite view in Zwolle?

Not necessarily the most famous one. Maybe it’s somewhere you pass regularly, a view you always stop to look at, or a spot that looks especially good at a certain time of day.

Sometimes it’s the small, familiar views that grow on you over time. A street you cycle through every day, the water on a quiet morning, or somewhere that just feels different depending on the weather.

Which view in Zwolle never gets old for you?

Did you ever move to a cheaper city to reach FIRE sooner?

I've been wondering how much of a difference location really makes to the FIRE timeline. Moving somewhere cheaper could mean lower housing costs and a much smaller annual budget, but it also means leaving behind friends, family or a place you genuinely like. Has anyone here actually moved for financial reasons, and did it feel worth the trade-off?

Do you think young people today have it better or harder than your generation did?

Every generation faces its own challenges, and it's not always easy to compare them. Housing, education, the job market, social media, and the cost of living have all changed quite a bit over the years.

Looking at the bigger picture, do you think young people today have it easier, harder, or just face different challenges than your generation did?

What do you think has changed the most?

What purchase made your student life much easier?

Sometimes it's not the expensive things that make the biggest difference, but one purchase that ends up making everyday life noticeably easier.

Whether it was a kitchen appliance, bike accessory, laptop stand, noise-cancelling headphones, second-hand furniture, or something completely unexpected, what's one thing you bought that you think every student should consider?

I'd love to hear what it was, roughly how much it cost, and why it ended up being such a good investment. It might help new students decide what to prioritise when they're setting up their room or adjusting to student life.
