I am an editor by trade and OCD by misfortune. I'm rereading the Dresden Files to prep for reading Twelve Months. Typos and errors in books bother me, so you guys have to help me get unbothered.
In Fool Moon Chapter 11 Dresden makes a deal with the demon Chaunzaggoroth, trading one of his names for information. Dresden says, "My dad was a stage musician. When I was born, he gave me those names." Chauncey had already identified Harry Houdini and Harry Blackstone as being Dresden's namesakes. There didn't seem to be any reason to mischaracterize his father's profession, even if he were trying to hide more of his name from the demon.
Is this just a transcription error? Or did I miss something of importance here?

Currently on vacay north of Eagle River, south of LandO. The smoke hit overnight, and we've got a solid grey smog over the lake. We've had to close up the cabin windows (days of 90°+ heat!) because the smoke is so acrid. Air quality between the orange (unhealthy) and purple (very uhealthy) range.

Does anybody else shower with their Grey? Fawkes loves playing “rainbird.” Every few weeks i bring her into the bathroom and let her sit on the shower door rail while I shower. Then she lets me know that it’s her turn, waving her foot in the air to get lifted off the rail. No soap and medium warm temps of course, but she really looks forward to flapping in the down pour.
Anybody else share a shower?

I have several sizes of spots in all the decorative metallic finishes you could want. What I'm looking for now is multi-colored 1/8" spots for decorative uses (belts, vests, etc.). ROYGBIV, either metallic or enameled. Definitely do not want rhinestone or glitter spots. I've looked through the sites of all the bigly suppliers and Etsy, but no luck. Any ideas? Many thanks.
