Do you have a story of queer chosen family?
Hi everyone! I am a queer documentary photographer who is newly based in Philadelphia. I am interested in finding stories about queer chosen families and would love to hear your story! Are you or someone you know part of a queer family? This could be a group of close queer friends, a drag family, ballroom house, queer parents or children, adopted family or anything that speaks to the topic. As a queer person myself, I see how important it is to form bonds with other queer people, especially in circumstances where our blood family may not support us. I believe storytelling can be a powerful tool in breaking down barriers and giving representation where we are often left out of the conversation. Do you have a story you'd like to share?
