Please help me find this dog’s owners (Miles Jamison Rd)

⚠️ Warning: Attached photo is a cropped image of a deceased dog. I did mark out the areas that were graphic. ⚠️

I apologize if this is not allowed in here, but I’m hoping someone recognizes this sweet boy or knows who his family is.

Yesterday morning before sunrise, I was driving on Miles Jamison Rd (coming from Ladson Rd & right after the roundabout) when I tragically hit this poor dog.. I am absolutely heartbroken and have been replaying it over and over in my head. There was a slight curve in the road, it was still dark out, and the fact that his fur is all black made him nearly impossible to see. An oncoming car slammed on their brakes trying to avoid him, which unfortunately startled him and caused him to run directly into my lane. I hit my brakes as hard as I could, but there wasn’t enough time, and with almost no shoulder on that stretch of road, I couldn’t safely swerve. He passed away instantly.

He appeared to be an all black, (I think unneutered) male, possibly a Shepherd/Pit mix or a Shepherd/Lab mix and was wearing a red harness but no tag/contact info.

I am so incredibly sorry to whoever loved this dog. I truly wish the outcome had been different.

After it happened, I called the Dorchester County non-emergency line and waited. When no one arrived, I called back and was told the South Carolina Highway Patrol was responding. After waiting even longer, I contacted Animal Control, who transferred me back to Highway Patrol and told me the same thing.. that an officer was on the way. I waited for over an hour, as long as I possibly could (I know they may have more “pressing matters” going on but I couldn’t just leave the poor baby there alone) but eventually had to leave because my son is having surgery early this afternoon.

Thankfully, an incredibly kind woman stopped to help me move him safely out of the roadway while I waited and after she left her boyfriend also came and helped knock on several nearby doors to see if anyone recognized him. After no luck with asking around, he said he was going to take the dog to either a local veterinarian or the shelter so they could check for a microchip and hopefully reunite him with his family.

If this was your dog or you recognize him, I am truly, deeply sorry. My heart breaks for his family. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about what happened. ♥️😓

**UPDATE: Unfortunately this poor pup was NOT microchipped.. BluePearl Pet Hospital has been kind enough to offer to keep him for a few days while we try to find his owners. If you think you may recognize this sweet boy but need to see the unedited photo to be sure then please feel free to send me a message and I can send you the photo as well as give you the exact address that it happened in front of.nnn

Does anything stand out with my placements and birth chart?

I am slowly learning more about astrology and chart reading and I love to hear other’s perspectives as well as seeing other peoples’ charts. One question I do have, is why do these charts look so different but they’re my birth chart? Is it just the different platforms? Between the 3rd & 4th picture which would you think is best for a beginner to learn with?

Thanks everyone! ☺️

Guess My Big 3 ❤️‍🔥

-Basic Info:

30 years old, mom of 3 awesome little crotch goblins, and married to a firefighter/EMT. Recovery is a huge part of my story. I grew up in a home where addiction was normalized and spent years battling PTSD, addiction, treatment centers, and psych hospitals. Everything changed when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter at 21. Since then, I’ve been determined to become the mother I never had.

I’m currently working toward my bachelor’s degree but can’t decide between pursuing a career I’m passionate about or choosing the path that offers the most financial stability for my family.

I have come a long way from the angry little girl who lashed out at everyone any chance she got, all because she was hurting.

-My Red Flags:

•Is a convicted felon

•I either overshare my entire life story or reveal absolutely nothing. There is no middle ground.

• Makes terrible decisions and then overanalyzes them for the next 7-10 business years.

• Simultaneously wants attention and to be left alone forever.

•I will spend three hours researching a purchase that costs $12.

• Every hobby eventually turns into a business idea.

•My therapist has had to tell me, "Not everything is a sign."

• Has the emotional stability of a shopping cart with one bad wheel.

• Can psychoanalyze everyone in the room but somehow remains a complete mystery to herself.

• Every minor inconvenience feels like either a personal attack or a character building exercise.

• Has enough self-awareness to identify the problem but not enough self-control to stop it.

•Says "it is what it is" while actively making it worse.

• My fight-or-flight response has evolved into a third option: become unnecessarily funny.

My Transition Strips Have Unionized & Are Staging a Walkout

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some advice from people who know a lot more about flooring than I do (which is literally nothing). I bought an older home that was flipped and then rented out twice before we got it, and I’ve always had a suspicion that some of the flooring work (all of the work in general) wasn’t done very well. There are gaps in various places, and now the transition strips throughout the house have started popping up. Some are between tile and laminate flooring, and others are between laminate and the exact same laminate flooring in adjoining rooms.

When I pulled up one of the loose transition pieces to investigate, it looked like whoever lived here before us may have already been fighting this issue. There were huge amounts of old glue underneath, almost like they just kept adding more every time it came loose instead of fixing the underlying problem.

A few months ago, our area experienced 7 small earthquakes within about a 24-48 hour period, and then we continued having occasional small quakes every couple of weeks for a while afterward. The largest was only a 3.2, so nothing major, but it did make me wonder if that could have contributed to the flooring shifting at all. The building itself is pretty old. Could small earthquakes have any effect on floating floors or transition strips, or is this more likely just poor installation?

I went ahead and vacuumed underneath one of the transitions, and the channel underneath was packed with dirt and an impressive amount of compacted dog hair from previous owners. I also started scraping up the old glue with a box cutter and flat head screwdriver which is taking forever. My assumption is that I should remove all the old glue, thoroughly clean everything, and start fresh.. but then what? What products would you recommend for reattaching transition strips? Are there specific adhesives, replacement transition systems, or installation methods that tend to work best? Any tips, tricks, or major “don’t do this” warnings for a complete beginner?

For context, I have absolutely zero flooring experience. I do, however, have three little kids, including a one-year-old who has made it his personal mission to pull up every transition strip he can find since they started coming loose, so I’d love to get this fixed properly before someone gets hurt.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I’ll be attaching photos so you can see exactly what I’m working with and a photo of some adhesive that I found at Walmart thinking it could maybe get the job done.
