A little about me: I am an IIT Delhi graduate currently working in Product at a fintech company and preparing for PM/APM opportunities.

I'm 23 and have a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi. I currently work in Product at a well-known Indian bank.

Initially, I wanted to pursue finance because I had this perception that it's one of the highest-paying career paths, and that's one of the reasons I'm considering an MBA.

The problem is that I'm not sure what I want in the long run. I don't know if I eventually want to:

* Continue in Product,

* Move into finance,

* Stay in the corporate world and grow there, or

* Build a startup someday.

Right now, I'm liking Product Management, but I'm not sure if that's what I'll want to do for the rest of my career.

An MBA is a huge investment in terms of both money and opportunity cost, so I don't want to do it just because it feels like the default next step.

I'd really appreciate advice from people who've been in a similar position.

Some questions:

1. Did you pursue an MBA even when you weren't sure about your long-term goals?

2. How did you decide whether it was worth it?

3. What would you do if you were in my position?

Hi needed book suggestion for CAT especially for English and LRDI questions practice can you please recommend some which is relevant to CAT level

I’ve applied to hundreds of roles across Product Management, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Strategy, and Data roles. Tailored resumes, cold messages, referrals, LinkedIn networking, reaching out to hiring managers, improving ATS score, interview prep, literally everything people suggest.

Still not able to land even a single interview call consistently.

I graduated from IIT Delhi, have experience in Product + Analytics, worked with SQL, Python, dashboards, stakeholder management, customer analysis, and even currently working full-time, yet somehow it feels impossible to even clear the resume screening stage.

The worst part is not rejection after interviews. It’s not even getting the chance to interview.

Meanwhile, every job posting has 1000+ applicants within hours, and half the roles seem either frozen, internal hiring, or requiring 3–5 years experience for “entry-level” positions.

Honestly starting to feel exhausted and questioning everything:

* Is the market really this bad?

* Are PM/business/data roles oversaturated now?

* What are people actually doing differently to get callbacks?

Would genuinely appreciate honest advice from people who were stuck in a similar phase and managed to break through.
