I’m starting my MSc at Carleton in September. Does anyone have any tips or anything you wish you knew in grad school? Maybe tips for being a TA for the first time? Or info about Carleton in general, I did my undergrad at uOttawa so I know the city but not the campus. TIA !!

After 5 years, a late program switch (3rd year), multiple failed classes, an EIN on my transcript, and more Ds/Cs than I’d like to admit, I’m finally graduating from uOttawa.
There was a time I genuinely didn’t think I’d graduate, but I worked hard to turn things around, and now I’m graduating magna cum laude and starting my master’s. Posting this for anyone who feels behind, stuck, or like they’ve messed up too much to recover… you haven’t! It gets better, and you can absolutely come back from setbacks!!
