Rushing game stats speak for themselves, penalties were rampant, defense got ran through, this one hurt.

Drake Lindsey looks great so does our receiving room and O-line and our special teams are as solid old fashioned B1G as you'd expect and we have an ok schedule ahead of us. I'm still hopeful that we can put together a season better than 7-5. But lord I wish we could have a playoff caliber team again

Hats of to State, now that this game is over I am rooting for them to have a good season, they deserve some good football in Starkvegas.

Tldr: Halsey Kissing fans is not defensible and it's good she stopped doing that. Anthony Fantano still said something misogynistic and will not admit it.

The point still is going over Fantano's head and he's quadrupling down on "I just don't like the music." He's not gonna apologize, whatever.

His last 3rd of the video touches on something I feel is worth discussing. To be clear: Halsey kissing fans isn't defensible behavior. It's weird AT BEST.

As a fan who joined this wagon post 2020 I was under the impression this is something that only happened once or twice during Badlands, and learning how much more prevalent it was is something that gives me pause. As of writing this my belief remains that I think she's well aware that the behavior is not acceptable hence why it no longer occurs.

My title is my thesis. I still believe Fantano is missing the point. Anytime he discusses this he doubles down on his opinion of the music which isn't what people care about. We understand the basic concept of difference of opinion, if we didn't we'd be equally mad you don't like any of her albums except Love and Power. The phrase he used was poorly chosen at best and it doesn't seem like he plans to even admit that much.

It is also true that no celebrity should be kissing fans. It is true that Halsey was weirdly laissez-faire about the possibility of these fans being minors. It is good she stopped doing that and would be awesome if she addressed it.

His redirection of the conversation may cause this to evolve further. As it stands given my current knowledge I think this cheap and believe it further diminishes the point of why people are upset with him, which is that he doesn't seem to understand how what he said props up misogyny. The point was not that he's a misogynist, it's that he said something misogynistic. Nor is the point of this essay to defend Halsey's behavior. The original conversation has gotten lost as tends to happen on the Internet.

I bought Madden 09 and 25 for the ps3 at a local game shop after hearing so often that these older games are so much better than what we have now. I've given these games shots and I don't get it? I'm most familiar with Madden 26 as I just picked up the series and I generally do well with all-pro, but playing all pro on both of these older games feels, weird? The only thing I know to say is I'm just not having fun with how these games control so far. Any tips from vets on skills that might not be transferring for me?
