Ideas for Healthcare Related Volunteer Opportunities in NoHo?

I’m an RN looking to volunteer somewhere that is healthcare adjacent. Where I lived previously, I volunteered at a free clinic but that doesn’t seem to be a thing here (there’s federally qualified health clinics but it’s not the same as where I volunteered. At the free clinic, I got to room patients, take vitals, do basic labs like blood sugars, and do patient education but the federally qualified clinics have actual employees to do that).

Anybody have suggestions for opportunities in this area? Bonus if it doesn’t require frequent use of a car, because my family is currently a one car family.

The issue that I’m running into is that Cooley Dickinson appears to require two letters of reference, the Senior Center appears to need 2 non-family or friend references, etc. I don’t have anybody to give references because I’ve taken a career break.

Thank you!

Best place to buy loose leaf tea in the area?

What is your favorite place that sells a variety of loose leaf teas? Not like a cafe that happens to sell loose leaf Earl Gray but has a variety of more unusual teas like different spins on black, oolong, herbal, green tea, etc? Thank you!
