Hey does Stickely marketing want to take this over

Does someone from the Stickley marketing or social media team (who I've tried to reach out to) want to take over this subreddit?

I love Stickley, and I've spent way too much on this furniture, but I do not have the time or energy to deal with any kind of social media relating to this furniture (as much as I would love that to endow me with free shit).

Please, someone from Stickley please contact me so we can work something out.

Genuinely curious what happens if you just straight up ignore a notice from Diamond Parking Service. It's not a real citation and has no legal teeth. Oh noes they might submit it to a collections agency which will get immediately disputed and have no real impact on my credit rating.

So like, wtf? Should I even waste my time?

Ok, so, first let's get something out of the way: the evo-x2 blower fans are ridiculously loud. BIOS updates, fan curve configurations, better thermal paste, PTM7950... I don't care. It helps, but the noise is still completely out of control for an office or home office environment. My wife was literally flagged by test proctors for excessive noise in the environment because my evo-x2, sitting about 15 feet away, went to full load for a few minutes. If it weren't for pure greed, one of these companies could have given us an AXB35 with AIO integrated. Anyways, rant over.

Next, if you're thinking you can easily (or even not so easily) integrate an AIO, then think again. Yep, can confirm everything on the MB matches LGA1150 mounts (75x75) - easy peasy there - covers the CPU die no problem. Problem is the stock heat pipe setup also covers the DDR5 modules and the VRMs, but your AIO CPU water block will only cover the DDR5 modules about half way, and not touch the VRMs at all.

Now, the VRMs are linked to the main copper block with some janky aluminum, and that didn't seem to matter much, but I got lots of memory errors I'm assuming due to the uneven cooling of the DDR5 chips. CPU temps were amazing, for as much load as I could manage before the system crashed due to memory errors.

I tried affixing several little copper heatsinks to the exposed PTM, but that didn't help. I really should have taken a picture of this Frankenstein shit. Also, I can confirm there's no real way to cut away the parts of the stock heat pipe assembly necessary to clear the CPU block as a hobbyist. If you could pull that off, you've got access to CNC and could just make your own block.

Bottom line is this is a fools errand without machining a custom cooling plate. A few others have said that on various posts here over the last year, or at least speculated. I'm just confirming it again for anyone who decided to buy one of these systems recently due to the latest AI hype, and got irrationally angry over how loud it was.
