Is this toilet cracked enough to warrant landlord replacement?

Hi! Maintenance said "these things last forever" and didn't think the cracks were a problem, but I've read the horror stories about cracked toilets shattering. Am I right to push back and request a replacement?

(Didn't cause this btw, just wear and tear!)

Eternally grateful lurker!

I had my first brush with constipation yesterday. I had always assumed it was a minor, easily fixable, even slightly funny problem... was not expecting to feel so helpless, uncomfortable and honestly freaked out when there was a mega-train that couldn't leave the station!

Just wanted to thank the community here for all of the useful posts / comments. A combination of prune juice, tummy massages, squatty potty, hydration and a halfhearted glycerin suppository were enough to end my ordeal after ~24 hours (minor league stuff, I know, but it still sucked!).

Fair winds and clear skies!
