If I am on an F1/J1 visa, am I allowed to work on the student visa while filing for adjustment of status?
I also heard that getting married is only allowed after 90 days since entry to America. Is that true?
We have been a relationship for more than 4 years and we'd like to get married. I also would like to stay employed to afford the marriage.
Has anyone gotten their 212e residency requirement waived despite having received funding from the Department of State? Mine was stamped a decade ago on my J1. I know it is rare, and I hope to get mine waived sincr my employer and fiancé are willing to sponsor my H1B and green card. Looking for advice on how to get it waived!
