Starting Tirz today — any tips welcome!
I just started Tirz/B6 at 2mg today and will titrate up 1mg/week after two weeks. Any tips for avoiding gastrointestinal issues or things that have helped you along the way?
I have healthy habits and am not obese, but developed insulin resistance after going through years of unsuccessful fertility treatments where I was injecting myself with all kinds of hormones. I have managed it fairly well on Metformin, but the scale/body fat will not budge without being hyper vigilant with calorie counting, and that is not good for my mental health.
I also deal with anxiety and depression, and my mental health nurse practitioner said GLP-1s are being studied as a way to address these conditions, so I’m hopeful I will notice a change!
I am hoping to drop some weight, but more importantly support my metabolic health, appetite control, and find freedom from food noise.
