Found a Death In June record in Chicago

While I was in the city earlier this month I managed to snag Sun Dogs for only $11 🔥🔥🔥 if anyone’s curious the store is Torn Light Records in Chicago. Highly recommend because they’ve got some awesome shit there.

Not sure what to do when my single parent mom dies

Hey everybody. Just made this account moments ago to post in this subreddit because I’ve honestly been very terrified. My mom is immunocompromised with a case of rotavirus as well as a UTI and is paranoid that she won’t live much longer and has been going down the tubes mentally. She’s a full-time caregiver for my little sister and is fully aware that I will not be able to care for her when she passes, and yet only recently has started to do something about that (got my sister added to the PUNS list, if anyone here is aware of what that is). Unfortunately, she does not have a will made. She’s also emotionally abusive and probably will not make one because of how she believes I am ungrateful, entitled, etc (it’s a lot to explain, but if anyone here has experience with emotionally abusive parents, maybe this will sound familiar). To make matters worse, her ex-fiance has access to a lot of information that would be helpful if something were to happen to my mom. He’s a shitty person and I’ve been pestering him non-stop for help and he still won’t get back to me.

My little sister has a very strict and specific care routine and has a very severe form of ARFID that causes her to only eat specifically-prepared baby food and she won’t let anyone else except for my mom feed her, which would make things difficult for a potential caregiver. I’ve basically been really scared and don’t know what to do if something happens to my mom because I literally cannot care for my sister and also can’t care for myself (I have level 2 autism).

If it helps: I live in Illinois.
