Dorm Furniture

The website states that if I want to bring my own furniture, storing the furniture in my dorm is my responsibility and it just needs to be at the dorm at checkout or I am charged.

Just clarifying that this means I can bring my office chair and then store the dorm chair myself, I only live an hour away

ISU Dining Scheduling

Does anyone have any experience working with ISU dining? They scheduled my shift to end just 10 minutes before my class starts, is this enough time? Will they allow me to leave a few minutes early knowing I have class?

Am I way past the deadline to sign up for the All Sports Pass lottery? I was able to manage the parking lottery just fine but cannot find any information on the sports lottery.

Picking classes

When it comes to picking my math classes, will the ALEKS placement test pick them for me? Or will I still be able to choose what math class I go into

Road Trip Liability Waiver

I’m going on a road trip with 3 friends and am not going to be driving.

The person driving is using their Mothers car, and their Mother wants us to sign a liability waiver as follows: (this is copied and pasted directly from the text with some censorship for personal info)

NAME and NAME are not responsible for any injuries or stolen property incurred driving in the nissan altima 2013 and if any damage is done to the car including being stolen or hijacked during the trip your responsible to one fourth of any damages, and no legal action may be taken for any injuries or damages to property incurred

She just wants us to write this on a piece of paper and get it notarized

This just seems very poorly written so I’m wondering how I can revise it so I don’t run into any issues? I also don’t understand why we would be liable for 1/4 of damages caused by property being stolen or getting into a crash if she has insurance, is she talking about the deductible? What fees would be associated with getting the car stolen?

Parking, Leaving, Etc

First time that any of the people in my group are going to a festival like this. Is there anything I should expect when it comes to entering or leaving the parking lot?

Obviously I know the wait will be long to get out, but anything helpful beyond that would be nice to know.
