After treatment, we don't need any probiotic supplements to restore our digestive system.

I see many questions about which probiotic supplement is best for restoring the digestive system after treatment. I'm in the same boat.

We don't need any of these. If you don't have a problem with dairy products, a glass of kefir, preferably on an empty stomach, will regulate your gut flora very quickly.

While the variety may vary slightly, the beneficial microorganisms found in a good quality kefir include: Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens, Lactobacillus kefir, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis, Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Streptococcus thermophilus, Acetobacter aceti, Acetobacter rasens, Kluyveromyces marxianus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Saccharomyces kefir, Candida kefyr, Kazachstania unispora.

You won't find this many probiotics in any capsule.

It is stated that bismuth, tetracycline, and metronidazole should be taken in the same time but bismuth and metronidazole tablets contains calcium??

Both tablets I use (bismuth and metronidazole) contain calcium carbonate as an excipient. I believe many types of these two medications are the same.

Taking tetracycline with these two tablets is the same as taking tetracycline with dairy products. Isn't there something wrong with that?

Is severe muscle soreness a side effect of bismuth quadruple therapy?

Hello.

I'm on the fifth day of therapy. For the past two days, I've been experiencing muscle pain, especially in my calves and the sides of my lower back, when bending over or during times when intra-abdominal pressure increases, like when coughing. My legs feel like I've been exercising for hours. I'm better during the day, but it's particularly severe at night, keeping me awake.

Has anyone experienced a similar side effect? Should I be worried?

Do you think there's a mistake in my H. pylori treatment protocol?

I was diagnosed with H. pylori. My prescription is one 500 mg tetracycline tablet daily, two 500 mg metronidazole tablets daily, one 40 mg esomeprazole tablet daily, and three 262 mg bismuth subsalicylate tablets daily. I've researched it and seen many people using four doses of tetracycline daily. I'm confused. Do you think there's a mistake in my treatment protocol?
