Want to use real 2000s phone for daily use, is it really impossible?
I want to use an old flip phone for everyday use, right now I'm looking at a Nokia 6111 but really anything small and cute, ideally silver or a bright color. The problem is in my research I found that the phones then are only compatible with GSM 2G, which in the US has been taken down.
My best bet now is to try and find someone in NYC who can somehow change the hardware to be compatible with Verizon LTE or 5G, is this possible? and to keep the original display and interface? What kind of budget am I looking at?
Alternative is to find a phone that is compatible, if anyone has recommendations here is what I'm looking for:
Physical button keyboard
No touch screen or ability to use social media
Silver or light color option
