Unsolicited unpopular take on efficiency

So most flat rate techs think they want to have the highest possible average efficiency rate. They’re wrong. What you really want is an average efficiency rate of 150%. Every tech with 200% or more efficiency will be taken for granted, abused, and exploited. Keep your average at 60 hours a week. Turn a 200%+ week no more frequently than once a month. Want/need more money? Don’t turn more hours. Ask for raises. I used to have an average of 250% efficiency. It did me no favors, made my job worse. At 150% things are way better.
