A/C Solutions Conversion Kit AC Compressor Issue on 1989 325i

Does anyone have experience with the A/C Solutions R134a ac conversion kit for the e30? I have a 1989 325i sedan so I bought the 9/1987-8/1989 w/oil cooler kit along with the brackets kit, but upon installation the new AC compressor does not fit where the old AC compressor was, as it bumps into the oil filter housing. Has anyone encountered this issue? I’m not sure how to proceed, if there is another AC compressor that I am supposed to use.

Dust boots for Koni yellow struts and shocks?

Could someone explain the necessity of dust boots for Koni yellow struts and shocks for my 89 325i sedan? I’ve read that dust boots are important, but I can only seem to find dust boots for the 325ix. Am I missing something?

In my last question, it seemed to be split 50/50 between people recommending Bilstein or Koni for suspension shocks. For somebody like me that doesn't plan on racing or going to a track, is Bilstein B6 or the Koni equivalent better, or just stick to Sachs for a factory-style suspension? This is probably something I will decide in a year but curious what people think.
