I delivered a medication to the right address despite a bad pin. Because the pin wouldn’t let me move to the prompts in the app, I engaged in the chat and asked for support. I proved I was at the right address and I asked the agent to mark me as “arrived” so I could get the signature from the nurse and move on. 40 minutes later, the agent marked it as delivered. I was contacted and told I never delivered it. I had since done other orders while communicating with a different agent. Despite giving the name of the nurse and the address of the facility, I was asked to describe the nurses appearance. I did call the agent a dumb ass because the information was easy to confirm, but also, it’s a nursing home. That lady probably ended her shift during that time. I’m really aggravated because I’ve had an excellent track record with roadie and I like how easy and flexible it is. I hope it’s a quick fix because my screenshots and photos show I delivered to the right place, and nursing homes have cameras.

How do we get around bad pins?

I’m in the rural south, and sometimes the address is correct and the pin is miles away AND there’s no live operator in app so i have to chat on the BROWSER for 20 minutes just to have a 24 hour hold on my payment for THEIR mistake, BUT ALSO if the package is delivered to the *CORRECT* pin and the client who doesn’t answer calls doesn’t receive it? I don’t get paid. I get “we are investigating” emails. Ughhhhh

I often deliver to places where my signal is lost and I get turned around getting back home. I’ve started going to my pickup location, putting my home address in the map, and adding the delivery address as a stop, so the map is already in the cache in my phone, regardless of signal. I have an iPhone, and there may be a simpler way to do this, but this works too. Also, some of you may know this already, but I’m sharing just in case others don’t. I am in Arkansas and the last time I was lost, I was on a dirt road with a lot of deer stands. Not fun at all 😭
