Hello. My brother and his family of 5 will be relocating to Conway SC from NJ this summer. They are convinced the COL is more affordable, schools are good for the kids, and they will be over the moon happy. I don’t want to leave NJ just yet at least and see myself here another 5–10 years. However, my parents are debating buying a second home to “snow bird” during their retirement. What are all of your opinion on the area? How is healthcare (for my aging parents)? I am planning on attending nursing school up here and want to work 2-3 years to get experience before moving. How is the job field for RNs and COL for a single individual on RN wage? Thanks for any information.
