My wife and I checked out the Green and New Fork Rivers of Western Wyoming.

We headed to Wyoming for our summer vacation and after a 3 day backpacking trip in the Wind River Range we canoed two of the rivers on the western side of the range. We did a day paddle down the New Fork River downstream of Pinedale and then spent two days and one night on the Green River starting at Green River Lakes. It was an exceptional trip and I’m looking forward to exploring more western rivers in the future.

Had a nice trip to the Boundary Waters with my dad, brother and son back in June.

I grew up going to the BWCAW several times a summer with my dad but hadn’t been in ten years or so. I decided it was time we get back there because I thought it would be fun. Turns out it was and it reignited my desire to do more canoe camping.

Recently completed the Steel River Loop with my son.

This trip had been on my list for quite a while. Finally pulled the trigger and went for it a couple weeks ago with my son.
