Surely its not that high

Just wondering if anyone has a behind grill light bar on an mu-x. My partner wants to get one but my concern is that is blocking airflow to the radiator. As you see in the picture there's a filled in plastic section then the light bar is covering the holed area. Leaving ont to small areas at the top and long one down the bottom.
