Why is a full-featured fleece jacket so hard to find?
Midweight, chest pocket, zippered hand pockets and a cinch hem.
Feels like a needle in a hay stack.

Picked up a Shimano Stimula 6’6” ML. It retails for $30 at Fleet Farm in WI.
It is very nice. The action is crispy and solid.
Is it just super cheap parts? They dont seem bad…yet.
Is it old blanks?
I am aware of the P-Cork, so obviously that brings the cost way down.
How do they make any money on these?
Looking for a solid full cork grip medium fast 2 piece rod for multipurpose freshwater. Bass, walleye, accidental pike.
Any recommendations are appreciated!
I have a 17mm spinning reel seat, looking for the proper winding check to finish out the top of the grip (no foregrip on this one) so it is flush and clean looking.
Went to Cabelas to pick out a Premier 7’ Medium Spinning rod. I was disappointed because upon inspection, they all had odd bends in the blank and the guides had one or two out of alignment OR they kinda tapered to one side as they traveled down the rod.
It may be picky but at $175 I just expect somewhere around 95% laser straight. Its a fishing rod, I know, very rarely will it be perfect.
So, I spent way too much time looking at maybe half of all the Croix rods they had out. There were only a few that I would I would have paid for and walked away with. Notably, the triumphs visually looked the best, as far alignment goes.
My $30 Shimano Stimula is PERFECT. My Kast King Perigee is PERFECT. Even my Ugly Stik Elite is PERFECT.
I guess Im just disappointed because St. Croixs are the ultimate do everything rods for me and I havent found an alternative yet. At a premium price I kind of expect premium craftmanship.
Just wanted to vent, thanks.
