Question for women who left their ovaries - what do you use to track your period?

It's been about 8 years since my hysterectomy and I haven't had any medical complications whatsoever; however, my new partner has noticed mood swings and I'm wondering if it's hormone/period related (I've been single most of the time since my surgery, so it wasn't a factor before). I'd like to be able to find when I'm "on my period" and wondering if anyone had a reliable way to track it? Most products I saw tend to be geared towards ovulation and peeing on the stick daily, so wondering if someone here has found something easier.

Are shields a common ability or a copied ability?

Multiple people with the headmistress had them, and multiple people at the prison. How do so many people have shielding? Did I miss something?
