I finally got around to finishing this one. Definitely a fun build with lots of possibilities for modification. The tower in the back was probably the most troubling part of the kit and I did not understand why they made some of the choices they did. There is a neat little side room that you cannot see at all so I kind of wish they would have put it on the front (Pic 7).

Mods:
Added 3D elements (people, boxes, barrels)
Removed the front ship (please note that this is one of the things that helps keep the dust shield in place so proceed at your own risk)
Changed the position of the back ship (a ship at full sail heading towards a bridge did not make sense in my opinion so made it look more like it was docked)
Painted the edges
Added the storm clouds above (cotton balls and black primer)
Replaced the manufactures AI slop on the inside walls with my own AI slop (having two castles on opposite sides was confusing as well as the fact they were two completely different style castles bugged me)
Added in a thunder and lightning kit from evandesigns.com
Swapped out the 2xAA battery pack for a 4xAA
