Why won't my 2B/2C hair clump together? Constant frizz and separated curls/waves

I’m honestly so tired of trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong with my hair. I have very long, almost waist-length hair, and I think my hair type is around 2B/2C. My biggest problem is that my curls/waves don't really clump together. Instead, individual strands or small sections stay separated, so my hair looks fluffy and frizzy rather than defined and shiny. My hair is usually especially frizzy on wash day, but it looks a little better on the second day.

My current routine:

  • I shampoo twice when I wash my hair, usually every 2 days.
  • After washing, I apply Cantu Curl Activator Cream to soaking/wet hair.
  • I don't brush or comb my hair while it's wet because whenever I do, my curls seem to fall apart and become even less defined.
  • I only brush my hair before washing, when it's dry.
  • Once my hair is completely dry, I use around 2–3 drops of Bioblas Argan Hair Oil through the lengths/ends.

I use a pretty small amount of Cantu — roughly a pea-sized amount on each side of my hair. What I really want is soft, shiny, well-defined curls/waves that actually clump together, instead of separated, frizzy pieces. So what am I doing wrong? Could the Cantu Curl Activator be too heavy for my hair? Am I using too little/too much? Should I be using a gel or mousse instead? I've tried gel and mousse in the past, but they just made my hair feel damaged and stiff, and my curls felt completely frozen. And should I actually be brushing/combing my hair while wet even though it seems to destroy my curl pattern? I would really appreciate advice from people with similar long 2B/2C hair because I feel like I've been fighting with my hair forever.

Hybrid calisthenics?

Since yesterday, I’ve started doing Hampton Liu’s Hybrid Routine. I started with the beginner level, which wasn’t hard for me at all. I’m a student, so I’m home almost all the time studying, and I can’t really go out and pay for classes or a gym. I came across his channel and thought I’d give it a try, but I’m not sure if it’ll actually help me.

I weigh 54 kg and I’m 1.68 m tall. I’m not overweight; I just want to tone my body and become a bit stronger.

I used to do Pilates workouts from Madeleine Abeid on YouTube, and I thought they were great until I saw someone comment that her form isn’t correct and that I’m basically wasting my time...

I really liked Pilates because the workouts were short, and I felt like I was working my whole body. But now I’m not sure what else to do.

I can jump rope, I guess, but I don’t know if that’s enough.

I’d really appreciate your thoughts! Please don’t judge :)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I’m a girl lol. Idk if that makes a difference, but basically I want to build some muscle (get more toned) without getting too bulky.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my experience with endometriosis.

I am a 25 yo (F) and I discovered I have endometriosis I think 2 years ago. I got my periods on 2014 and they`re always regular but I have never been able to deal with them without taking painkillers. First time I started to have really bad cramps was I think on 2016. I was waiting for the bus to get home and I had such bad cramps I felt nauseous and everything went black like I literally couldn`t see. Anyways since then whenever I get my periods, on the first day when it starts to hurt justtt a little bit I immediately take the pain killers (I take dolofix menstrual which has 325 mg of paracetamol and 400 mg of ibuprofen) and it helps me, I don`t feel pain afterwards. This is how I manage it every month. 1 tablet of dolofix menstrual and I`m okay. If I don`t do this I literally feel like I`m gonna die.

These past 2 years I decided to get an ultrasound while I was doing my gynecological rotation (bc I am a med student and I thought why not) and at first the doctor thought they`re just cysts not very important and stuff and she gave me hormonal contraceptives. The other time I decided to ask another doctor to do my ultrasound and she was worried of what she was seeing and she advised me to get my labs done : CA 125, CEA, CA 15-3 etc and both CA 125 and CA15-3 were veryyyyy high and I was really worried. I got my MRI done then and they found out I have a 6.8cm endometrioma on my left ovary and another smaller on my right ovary. I have been feeling like a pulsating mild pain on my left side of abdomen and I`m worried it might`ve spread. I have another MRI appointment on July and I`ve been taking a teaspoon of black seed oil everyday for the past weeks and Idk if it`ll play a huge role but we`ll see. I wanted to buy CoQ10 bc of the study done on rats I think which it reduced intra-abdominal adhesion scores and volume of the endometriotic implants. But I didn`t buy it. Let`s see how this goes. But yeah. My pain is manageable thankfully.
