First I like Velde. Love his skill and confidence -- very fun player to watch. But he needs to be better with the ball. Loss of possession is OK in the attack if you are creating chances. Velde isn't.

Also, Velde is currently 19th in the league for shots off-target...yikes.

I don't want to be too hard on him because our other DP, Portuguese Dave, has been MIA from the top 25 in the league for any stat. Dave does lead our team in chance creation despite, and I'm having trouble believing this is true, having zero statistical dribbles won.
