Hello everyone!

As our China trip approaches, I’m tempted to order items from taobao to our hotel. I’ve seen so much content of other travellers doing this. I think I have the process figured out but am a little concerned because I will be on a data eSIM and won’t be able to text/call if clarification is needed.

The return process is also a little vague to me. Wanted to hop on here to see if anyone else has attempted this and how it went for them.

We get to Shenzhen at an odd time ~3am and have our hotel booking for the same day (check in at 3pm). We were thinking of trying out a 24hr spa when we get in. Would it be worth it to go at 3am? Aka are all of the services up and running? Can we get the same experience as going at a more ‘normal’ time?

I know there are a few 24hr spas in the Futian area, Tenz being the most popular. We’re most likely going to try Tenz but wanted to hop on here to get some opinions.

Hello! We are travelling to Hong Kong & Shenzhen in September- our flight lands ~12:00 AM in HK. By the time we get our luggage and pass immigration, it will be closer to 1:00 AM. We would like to get to Shenzhen that same morning. What would be the best way to get there?

I’ve done some research and there are private transfers (taxi) from the airport to Shenzhen but they are pricey ($~180 CAD) for a van that seats up to 6-8 people (this seems unnecessary as there is just two of us).

We are hoping for it to be relatively seamless as it is so early in the morning and understand that not all modes of transportation may be available.
