Paulie saying that Caitlyn will end up working at the bing theory
I saw a theory a few weeks ago that when Paulie makes the comment about Caitlyn ending up a dancer at the bing, the roar of laughter that Christopher witnesses in slow motion is actually a distorted perspective from an intoxicated and insecure Christopher. It is implied that Chris exaggerates the crews response and over reacts. The theory does make sense but I think its quite the opposite.
In the scene where Tony tells a joke at Feech’s card game and the crew erupts with laughter in slow motion and Tony noticed Feech is the only one not laughing, this is a moment of clarity for Tony. He is seeing that his guys are afraid of him and are giving over the top laughter to ensure they stay in his good graces while at the same time seeing that Feech is not afraid of him and is not concerned with staying on Tony’s good side.
The scene with Christopher is shot in the exact same way. The guys erupt with laughter in slow motion, the camera moves in almost the exact same way and the scene lasts for a similiar duration of time. I think this is meant to imply a moment of clarity for Chris. I think that Chris is in fact seeing through all of his “family” members and seeing that they in fact do not care about him.
Also, i could be seeing a parallel that doesn’t actually exist. Always with the scenarios…I said my piece.
