Still trying to decide on a cue. I do a lot of research and I am at the point where I believe a 150-300 dollar cue is just as good as a 500-600 dollar one, maybe just not as fancy. I have seen pros pick up a house stick and whip peoples asses, so I have to assume that it's how good you play vs price points on a cue that determines what to buy. I have looked at players, Kodak, Meucci, mcdermott, lucasi, joss, Jacoby, action, and a few others and besides price and looks, they all seem very close to the same feel to me as long as the shaft diameters are the same. What am I missing?

I currently shoot a Viking Valhalla with a 13mm, but I shot with a friends 12.2 and liked that much better. what are your opinions? I don't mind investing 500 bucks on a stick, but if I can get one for 300 that's just as good, what's the point in the better one?

I like wrapless cues. Cannot stand cues with wraps. I'm asking for recommendations on wrapless cues 500 bucks or less. I prefer wood, so no carbon fiber at all. I've been looking and researching and so many of the nice cues have wraps, but seems hard to find wrapless. THANKS

does anyone have experience with these things? I think they are a rip off. if my cue put together were as wobbly as things rollers make them appear to be, my stick would be doing a crabwalk on the table. rolling my sticks on the table they are fine. on the rollers they are basically telling me I have a bow. I have done the shaft and butt separately and both are arrow straight, but as one, wiggles all over. anyone have any opinions on this?

Just bought a Cuebots Z-Wave CF 5/16-18 thread shaft for my Viking Valhalla 200 Series 5/16-18 thread. It will not screw on. Anyone have suggestions on wtf or how to screw this on? 5/16 bolts screw into the shaft and the cf shaft, so I know the thread is correct, but the butt will not screw into the CF shaft. I'm banging my head over here. Can you explain/help?

I know the season is coming to a close, so I'm looking to join a 8-ball BCA team in the Metairie or surrounding area. Last time I shot league was Busch League in the 90's. Any advice how to find a team? Thanks.
