The final nail in the coffin of Cloud Clinic

The final nail in the coffin of Cloud Clinic

"“Dr Joe McAndrew is no longer providing clinical services to the Cloud Clinic. The
Cloud Clinic will facilitate prompt release of Cloud Clinic patient records to any
nominated medical practitioner or the relevant patient, if requested. Patients of the
Cloud Clinic should attend and follow up with their General Practitioner in relation to
their ongoing care and/or transfer to another service provider.”"

And yet, after my 3rd reminder email looking for said "prompt release", I have been greeted with this:

How naive of me to think anything would have changed and that I would actually get them to confirm my diagnosis and medication to my GP. €1,200 down the toilet.

I am in complete adhd freeze mode now ... soon to run out of meds, GP can't take over perscription without confirmation from psychiatrist, and I can't afford to get re-assessed. Any of the clinics that so seem to be accepting transfers at a lower cost (still not cheap) are all so new, that I am afraid to trust that the same shit won't happen all over again.

I know I am not the only one in this situation but I just feel so stupidly defeated by it all.

I purchased the Eufy S350 as a way to keep an eye on our new recuse dog when we weren't there. I chose this as I didn't want to pay for a cloud subscription, and frankly don't want videos of my house saved in the cloud. While sometimes the camera/app can be a bit buggy with unencrypting video lags etc, it is fine for what we want to use it for.

The other day when I went to look into the events, I saw an SD Card error and after some googling and then troubleshooting, it would appear the card is kaput. This is pretty poor after only 3.5 months of use - and not continuous recording, just pet motion event recording. It was a class 10 128GB card, so I don't think it was full. Admitedly it probaly wasn't the best in range, but it wasn't some cheap Temu type card either. Upon googling, I see the advise from other eufy owners is get a more high endurance card (I wish eufy mentioned this under their recommendations), like ScanDisk Extreme. These don't seem to be very cheap … well certainly not cheap if they end up having to be replaced every few months.

So my question is, do I go for another sd card which may have to be replaced again and again. Or do I go for the Home Base 3 and hope that will be a one-and-done payment. I do see that it is likely that an additional hard-drive is needed to expand the storage of the homebase, but I don't want to end up discovering that it will also blow up in a few months.

I am afraid this will turn into a sunk cost fallacy because really, at this stage, the camera is probably more a nice-to-have than a vital requirement, but it's annoying me that it can't record.
