Panel gap question (I know sorry)..

My apologies in advance for being the next person to bring up the notorious panel gap issue but I would really appreciate the community’s thoughts here. So I took delivery of my very first Tesla (26 MY Premium) today and didn’t notice this until I got home..

Might be kinda difficult to tell from the photo but the passenger side front fender below the upper pillar(?) seems to be “sunken in”/improperly installed causing the pillar above to appear to be bulging out considerably - I don’t believe the pillar is the issue. The two panels should obviously be flush with one another (like how it is on my driver’s side). As far as I’m aware this is only a cosmetic issue but it sure does look like an eye sore when you spot it though and it would be great if Tesla could fix this LoL.

Other than a minor gap (when compared to the driver’s side) between my passenger side door and rear door everything else looks great. I’ve already done some digging through older posts but I wanted to get a temp check now in 2026.. would Tesla consider this to be in spec? If they did fix it do you think it’s likely that it would cause misalignment issues elsewhere (which seemed to be the general consensus that it’s best to just forget about it)?

What would it even look like for them to “fix it”? Would it just involve removing the fender and then reinstalling it? Would that potentially cause problems elsewhere?

If you read until the end thank you for your time.

Cheers!
