So, I made a post here about a week ago. I’m 29F and going through a rough time, and would love to make genuine long term friends. However, at least 6 of the pms I got started off with a normal message, only to turn into “so are you horny?” right after. Mind you, my posts are purely platonic and also state that I am married.
If you use these kind of subs to creep on people, you should really and truly be ashamed of yourself.
I know, it’s reddit, and I know the automod warns about it, so there is the reality that stuff like that is going to happen. It doesn’t make it less gross and disappointing.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with random, casual chatting. It seems like that’s what most people online end up doing. But is it cringe at my age to say that I miss having a close bestfriend?
I’d like to think I’m a pretty easygoing and non-judgmental person. I think it’s important to be kind and try to understand where people are coming from.
As for hobbies, I mostly read thriller/mystery/horror stuff. I love gaming and watching stuff, but I tend to be picky, lol. I love horror and fantasy for that stuff, too. I also spend a lot of time doing homework, I’m getting my bs in psychology by the end of this year.
I have anxiety and don’t really ever go out, so I never get a chance to meet people. I love my husband and my pets, but I’m still lonely in general.
