How to replicate the conditions of the tropics?
I was just in Panama for two weeks and my skin was the best it has been in years. It was the week before and of my period as well, and normally I get terrible hormonal acne on my jaw, chin and around my nose. This time, I had two small breakouts on my jaw and one little whitehead on my nose. I was so happy with my skin. Ive been home 3 days and today I have 5 breakouts on my neck and many across my nose, chin and forehead and it makes me so sad. Home is the Pacific Northwest so a lot of rain but not nearly as humid or hot as Panama was. Panama the humidity was 70-90% each day and temps were high-20s, low 30s (C) each day
My routine is non-existent really:
I wash my face with warm water when I wake up and before bed
In the morning I use Kinesys Oil Free SPF 50 sunscreen
Thats it
I notice my skin feels so much drier now that I am back, so I am assuming my skin enjoyed the moisture in the air in Panama, but I also sweated a lot there which I thought would make my skin break out worse, but didnt
Any suggestions on what I should start as a routine to try to mimic the conditions of Panama? Add hydrating products? Mist my skin throughout the day?
