I don't remember too many details. I remember the giant spider, I'm not sure if it was kinda robotic or completely biologic but I remember it appeared out of nowhere from a hole on the ground, in a dirt or grass part of the map, and it was an enemy unit, so if it was in an RTS, it probably was in a campaign mode with a human faction.

I remember a blue loading screen, though I'm not sure if it's me confusing it with the Windows XP booting up screen, the OS I used at the time, so this could not be right. I believe the giant spider appeared at the start of the mission, though I could be wrong. At the time the family member who introduced me to this game used to play a lot of RTS games like ones from Command & Conquer, Age of Empires or Empire Earth, so it could be from that same era of RTS games.
