My legal first name is Archibald Ja Mie. Yes Ja Mie is 1 name and there is a space (not hyphen) between the Ja and the Mie. I've heard of shorter double first names like BillyJoe or Jim Bob. Is it unreasonable to want to be referred to by my full first name? To make it not so confusing to others I just tell them my name is Archibald Ja Mie. I usually only went by Archibald but after being put in a class with 3 other Archibalds I started going by Archibald Jamie but do you think its too excessive for me to go by both first names? ​

Also - I don't know how I could possibly turn Archibald into a nickname to differentiate myself, so must have to add extra names to compensate.

Good morning,

I feel I have done a silly - but cannot find a clear answer, and wanted some advice from the experts.

I have primed my model ready for painting (a Warhammer 40k Necron Doomsday Ark, in 2 colours based on heavy dry brush needed on some parts, and contrast paints primarily on others). I got a little distracted as I was putting everything together for spraying, and realise that I forgot to tack out the connection points. Clearly this means that I now need to decide how I will glue it.

From what I can tell, I have 2 options:

  1. use super glue instead of plastic cement

  2. Remove the paint from the connection points and use plastic cement (isopropyl and a cotton bud/qtip?)

What is my best option here? Is super glue enough? Or is putting in the extra work for the plastic cement the better choice?
