HER2 negative in breast but HER2+ in the lymph node

Hi everyone,
I was recently diagnosed ans something about my pathology is confusing me and I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience.

My pathology so far:
Invasive mammary carcinoma Grade 3, stage 3

ER positive: 90%
PR negative

Ki-67: 70 %
HER2: 0 in the breast tumor (completely negative)

I also had axillary lymph node biopsies performed the same day as the breast biopsies:
ER positive: 90% PR negative
But with Ki-67: 90%
AND HER2: 2+ (equivocal) FISH test pending

What I find difficult to understand is how the breast tumor can be HER2 0 while the lymph node metastasis is HER2 2+. The biopsies were done on the same day and before any treatment.
Has anyone here had a HER2-negative primary breast tumor but a HER2-positive (or HER2-equivocal/FISH-positive) lymph node… ?

The worst senario: Birads 5/ suspected IBC with lymph nodes likely metastatic…

Hello everyone, I already feel like I’m on my death bed…

Unfortunatly I’ve noticed something abnormal with my breast way too late, only when all the axilary lymph nodes have popped out….

My breat become huge and heavy , bloody nipple, pain … in 1 week
It seem that the cancer already spreaded, calcinated and diffused the whole breast, as explained by the doctor, so it’s not an early stage.

The same day after they did the echography and the mammogram they call me to come back righ away for biopsies and took 12 SAMPLES ( yes you read it correcly 12 in my breast and lymph nodes...).

I’m under shock ( cannot eat , sleep , think or do something else than think about cancer and IBC diagnosed at stage 3 or 4, chemos side effects…)….

Today 5 days after the biopsies the clinic already called me and I have an emergency appointment scheduled tomorrow at 11:00 …

Everything is going so damn fast , I guess it’s an inflammatory cancer…. And now everyday matter.

I’m 37 years old, from France , living in the UAE, mother of 3 wonderful kids :) I love my Life , I ‘m an Disney adult , love craft activities , love all animals and do ballet :)
By the way I have ASD and I’m not even sure I will be okay with all the medical environment and exams…

Here is my report :

« The left breast demonstrates diffuse increased parenchymal density with trabecular and skin thickening, predominantly involving the upper outer quadrant extending into the retroareolar region, associated with multiple clusters of microcalcifications, highly suggestive for malignancy.

On ultrasound there is Diffuse skin thickening and increased echogenicity of the left breast parenchyma are noted with distortion of the normal tissue planes notably at the UOQ.

Multiple confluent ill-defined irregular heterogeneous predominantly hypoechoic infiltrative lesions are seen involving the upper outer quadrant of the left breast with indistinct angular margins and posterior acoustic attenuation, associated with diffuse infiltration of the intervening breast parenchyma and internal echogenic foci corresponding to microcalcifications seen on mammography. The lesions are difficult to accurately delineate separately due to extensive infiltrative extension and parenchymal distortion.

Multiple enlarged abnormal left axillary lymph nodes are identified involving level I and level II stations, showing globular morphology, cortical thickening, rounded configuration and partial to complete effacement of the fatty hila. »

Conclusion:

« Multiple confluent infiltrative lesions involving the upper outer quadrant of the left breast with associated pleomorphic microcalcifications and diffuse infiltration of the intervening breast parenchyma, highly suspicious for infiltrative breast malignancy.BIRADS 5
Suspicious enlarged left axillary lymph nodes involving level I and II stations, likely metastatic. »

Thank you for reading me , is there any stories similar to mine ?

BIRADS 5 report is suggesting metastatic lymph nodes

Hello everyone, I’m not offically diagnosed, we are still waiting for the biopsies results but I’m pretty sure I’m in it .

I’m under shock ( cannot eat , sleep , think or do something else than think about cancer) and I need to listen to positive stories: so if anyone diagnoses with IBC ( they clearly said it could be such kind ) or diagnosed at stage 3 or 4 wants to share and gives me some hope this would be amazing!

I have a booking for a breakfast at Auberge de Cendrillon in July ( Booked as an extra in my hotel package)

Today while checking the app (July planning is now available :) ) I noticed that Auberge de Cendrillon is mentioned to be closed ! So what does it mean, will it be cancelled ?

By the way and even more surprising but Regal View is also listed in the closed section !!!

Is this normal? Something feel wrong here , why so in the middle of peak season in July all the main princesses experience restaurants to be closed ? And what are now the options for characters dinning as Plaza Garden is closed as well … My daughter love the princess and that was really the THING we were expecting the most.

Considering the castel view is also partially obstructed, tbh it starts to feel a bit overwellming for me….
