Cabot cheese mystery

This has been driving me crazy for a while now. At my grocery store there are two cheese sections, the fancy one near the deli where the imported cheeses usually are and then the cheaper section on the opposite section. Both of them have Cabot cheeses of the same size and same types, but one is literally twice as much as the other, with the only difference I can see being that the cheap ones have horizontal packaging and the expensive ones vertical packaging. I tried snooping around the Cabot website, where I found mostly the vertical cheeses which were described as deli blocks, but I did find a Gouda with the horizontal label listed as a "dairy block" which was also priced lower then the others. Is this literally just a scam to double charge people who browse the expensive cheeses, or is there an actual difference?
