DV AOS cases are getting approved

Hi there,

According to Gulnaz is a multilingual paralegal at Red Eagle Law, L.C, few Ivanov plaintiffs are getting their cases approved and their status adjusted, he said in a plaintiffs only telegram group:

"Hello, please be informed that we have several Adjustment of Status in U.S. (AOS) cases approved since last week. We also notified some of AOS plaintiffs that they need to check their mailboxes for RFE notices."

This is probably the results of one particular case: BABTAIN Vs DHS.

Anyway, this calls for celebrating, we sure hope to see an order soon.

"Hundreds of foreign nationals selected for the federal government’s Diversity Visa Program filed a class-action lawsuit Wednesday against the Trump administration, challenging a series of immigration suspensions they argue unlawfully threaten their chances of obtaining U.S. residency.

The lawsuit, Medani v. Trump, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. It seeks to compel federal agencies to resume processing and final adjudications for 664 families — representing 1,489 plaintiffs — before a statutory deadline of midnight Sept. 30, 2026.

Under federal law, any diversity visas not issued by the end of the fiscal year are permanently lost."

Are they trying to give us strokes ?!

US to drastically slash the number of embassies in Africa that can process visas

The State Department plans to drastically slash the number of U.S. embassies and consulates in Africa that can process visas for foreigners seeking to come to the United States.
The almost 50 U.S. embassies and consulates that are processing visa applications will be reduced to 20 in the coming weeks, according to three U.S. officials and an internal memo obtained by The Associated Press. There is not yet a set date for the change, but it is expected in June, according to the officials, who were not authorized to comment to the media and spoke on condition of anonymity.

What is the meaning of this ? At this very specific time, when many important lawsuits reached a rulling date: clinic, Chersak, Ivanov .... Etc
