B6 BW Failed to Meet Expectations

First of all, I was so excited when buying this device because I truly thought I had found the ideal e-reader. I expected it to be quite perfect, but unfortunately, I ended up disappointed. For that reason, I am going to give an honest review.

I didn't experience any issues during the purchasing process; I placed the order to my relatives' house in Germany, and they brought it with them when they came over. However, the problems started after that.

My expectations from an e-reader were a powerful processor, high screen quality, and software stability. The vast majority of my books are in PDF format, which is why I wanted a highly portable device with a powerful processor. The B6 BW seemed to fit this format perfectly. Unfortunately, it did not deliver the performance I wanted when running PDFs. For instance, when I rotate the screen horizontally for a more comfortable reading experience, the text turns from black to a whitish-gray. The reflow feature is very weak, directly causing the text color to turn into that same whitish-gray as I mentioned.

Another dealbreaker is that whether it is an ePub or a PDF, I cannot underline sentences with my finger. It constantly jumps to a different word and gets awkwardly stuck. Because of this, I can neither highlight important sections nor use the dictionary feature.

On the other hand, as a minor flaw, there are errors in the Turkish, English, and German text within the menu. Capitalization rules have been completely ignored. I assume these can be fixed with a software update.

Also, it freezes when sending files, this situation drives me insanely crazy. I literally can't share files, everything has become a hassle.

In short, I am not satisfied. I am going to sell it, as returning it is not possible due to my location.

I was previously using the Nova Air C, but its yellowish screen was bothersome; I prefer a white screen. Aside from skipping the black-and-white option, they haven't released a 7.8-inch device since then. I am open to any recommendations you might have.
