Aaj nhi huwa, kuch saal pehle but jab v yaad ata hai i wanna jump off a cliff.

My best friend and I were from the same school originally but after 12th we got admission in different cities.

One day we decided to meet at a Domino's after her class.

I still remember it was a hot sunny day and I was drinking water, literally bottle after bottle.

Anyway, coming back to the story, we used to joke a lot about getting married if we couldn't find anyone else.

So, we were inside domino's, feeling the cool ac air, just chilling. The room wasn't that big but luckily there weren't that many people, so about 60% of the tables were empty.

Something came up and I said(in our local language) "I won't marry you" in a loud enough voice and i literally felt everyone's gaze on me. I felt embarrassed about saying such a thing to a girl and in a public setting with PEOPLE around. To add cherry on top, she didn't follow up like she usually does and just gave me a blank stare. If I could I would've hidden under a huge rock.

Safe to say, we never joked about that again.

Everytime I remember this incident, i roll myself into a ball and die inside.

Is an MBA from a distance university valued? I'm thinking of it as a backup in case I don't make it.

Should I go for finance or HR? Which is the most valued in today's market?

And if I do qualify for a bank will the degree be of any use in the future? I wouldn't mind switching from a PSB to a private if it means a better package.
