We live on a bay with forest all around in the Florida panhandle. In the span of two months we have found two little bats nearly dead in the exact same spot on the balcony. Both have been wet and slimy looking. Both were discovered in the morning. I feel absolutely terrible for them, what’s going on?

This is Violet. Here’s a bit of her story! I work at a veterinary hospital and our tech found her May 27th dragging her hind end in the yard in a rain storm. X-rays showed nothing so we assume soft tissue/neurological damage. I am the only worker without a cat, so I became the chosen one and she is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.
