Have I started an impossible journey with getting the Wheel of Time?

Have I started an impossible journey with getting the Wheel of Time?

I had a weird urge to collect mass market paperbacks (MMPB) since bookstores were so clearly moving away from them because of money and greed and they are all but gone now except in used bookstores. And while I haven't read any of Wheel of Time (though had Eye of the World on my shelf for a while), I am trying to collect the MMPBs... but I am now suspicious...

were the last three books (with Sanderson) ever released as MMPB with the good art? or only the generic color and ourobourus type image in the background (and also that horrible tall aspect ratio)?

am I doomed to failure to collect the whole series in this format with the art on the covers?

Forgive the plastic bag, Knife of Dreams just came out of the freezer.

[USA] Steam gaming trading card drops sales taxable?

occasionally selling digital cards that drop from playing a game you own results in ~5-10 cents each placed in a wallet that can only be used to buy more cards/digital items and video games. So I'm talking like $1 in a year for a causal gamer.

since you can't use the "money" anywhere else but their platform and requires you own a game the cards came from, it seems like a gamified discount and not taxable income since it's not actually US dollars you can spend. It's like store credit or a gift card.

HOWEVER, there is significant mixed messaging online about this where people claim you earn the value which is taxable. I have already called a tax professional and I'm waiting to hear back but I was interested in how others have dealt with it. It really shouldn't be this unclear.

Important note: I understand people just don't report things because they're tiny. I'm not asking for tax advice. I'm asking about technical accuracy.
