Help with a fledgling

Hi everyone, I found this fledgling at work on the pavement and at first I thought he might be having heat stroke, so I placed him in the shade and left a bowl of water nearby. However, I checked on it an hour after and it was still there. I then figured it must have flown into a window and stunned itself so i placed it in a cardboard box, still in the shade outside(the box was on its side so it could have left whenever).

I kept checking on it every hour or so but it never moved an inch and had it's eyes closed the whole time. It followed the movement of my fingers and had a good grip when i picked it up, however when left alone it closes it's eyes again.

I took it to the vet and they said they can't help, and I tried calling a local person that takes injured birds in but they aren't picking up. The bird is at my house now since there is a storm coming, and I didn't want to leave it there. Is there anything I can do to keep it comfortable until tomorrow? Thank you
