Hanami new dash

Watch, they're now going to complain about how the flower fields are too spammable.

Please just bring back old lasso dash cause she can't front dash for shit anymore, unlike back then, defense response could be used for mobility to some extent. Then just make the flower field a new R variant.

Also nobody likes the damn 2 M1. It's so tedious using her now because of it

Hanami is the perfect example of this community's toxicism

Hanami has been probably one of the most controversial characters in this game ever since her release, but, she only got more controversy around her ever since Tze reworked her two updates ago with the spikes.

The funny thing is that, Hanami wasn't even that 'bad' to fight against after rework, complaints about her spikes needing a limit or her evasive removal skill could've been fixed with some newer adjustments, but it's clear from the recent rework (once again) that Tze takes community feedback upon nerfing characters too seriously.

Her bud shots now don't have the evasive removal it used to have.. and now it's just two blockable buds that hit.. and deal 4 damage each, how is this move viable at all? Then, she's now forced to be within that rushdown archetype because people hate how she played uniquely as a zoner, which is why she has 2 M1's, I'm sure. Thing is, it plays so damn horribly for her character.

She was supposed to be a setplay character, that was what they had in mind. And then, they removed her aerial spike skill and switched it into a new complicated R, but can spawn a spike once only every 12-14 seconds now? So now she can't spawn spikes anymore that reliably, since old air variant could atleast combo through ihit, but she also doesn't have the defense she used to have with old R.

What I mean is that, Tze's recent decisions on reworking Hanami from this unique character to a weird rushdown is definitely affected by how much the community keeps talking negatively about her gameplay, when she already kept getting adjustments to satisfy the community complaints. It's ironic because they probably have never touched Hanami in the first place anyway.

I don't think it's fair too for players who use Hanami to have to change their playstyle every update and feel as if their learning a new character, the only difference is that the current one is absolutely ass.
