Meanest student ever…
I just had probably the meanest student I’ve ever come across on the platform…
She wanted me to write down everything she said, which I usually do, and paraphrase it all. But when we got to some bullet points (that were reasonably detailed or unique), she said very curtly “why are you paraphrasing this?” instead of asking me politely to skip it.
I could tell she was fed up within 12 minutes of starting, and after thoroughly discussing one question, I suggested we take a look at the notes. To this, she immediately snapped “why are we moving on? We’re not done with this question.” Yet was giving me one word responses to all of my follow-up Q’s…
Several other times she snapped at me for not liking my questions, or rolled her eyes and sighed before answering. Anyone else have such bad luck or bad attitudes?
